Synopsis and detail

Sam Lowry (Jonathan Pryce) lives in a totalitarian State, controlled by computers and by bureaucracy. This futuristic, all are ruled by chips and credit cards and still need to pay for everything, even for staying in prison. In the midst of oppression, Sam ends up falling in love with Jill Layton (Kim Greist), a terrorist.
