Synopsis and detail
On a rainy afternoon in England, Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) wins the first prize in a raffle site: a new camcorder, 200 euros and a week's holiday in southern France. The period of your trip coincides with the completion of the Cannes Film Festival, one of the most famous film festivals in the world. Mr. Bean is already with the camcorder-toting when embarks for Paris, and, upon reaching the Gare de Lyons, asks a passenger to film him boarding on the train. This passenger is the Russian Director Emil Duchesvsky (Karel Roden), who will participate in the jury of the festival. Emil loses the train, to part with his son Stepan (Max Baldry), of just 10 years. The boy stays with Bean, who decides to go down with him at station to wait for Emil. However the Director decides to take an express train to Cannes, where he denounces the police Bean.
