Synopsis and detail

Mo Folchart (Brendan Fraser) and his daughter Meggie (Eliza Bennett), of 12 years, are passionate about books. Since little Meggie had a habit of reading stimulated by his father, who works as a bookbinder. In addition they have the power to bring to life characters from the books read aloud, but whenever this happens a real person is entered in the books. Until one day, while walking by a tallow, Mo hears voices of Inkheart, a book that brings fond memories. Its history has medieval castles and strange creatures in this universe having imprisoned Meggie's mother when she was only three years old. Mo always wanted to find the book and save his wife, but now need to deal also with the kidnapping of Meggie for Capricorn (Andy Serkis), you want to give life to a variety of evil creatures.
