Synopsis and detail

Tintin (Jamie Bell) is a young reporter, you're always looking for good story. One day, he sees for sale on the street the former Galleon model and decides to buy it. Soon two other interested parties the address, wanting to acquire the object, but Tintin don't sell. He takes the ship to his home, where the highlights. Just that the entry of a cat causes Milu, your dog, the dog at home and accidentally drop the Galleon. He is damaged and a small cylinder out of its interior, without that Tintin notices. Once Tintin and Snowy are going to the library, where they try to find more information about the ship depicted in the model. Upon returning they realize that the Galleon was stolen. Tintin goes to the mansion recently purchased by doctor Sakharine (Daniel Craig), one of the interested in buying the model but nothing discovers. Upon returning he finds the drum and realizes that, within it, there is a clue for a lost treasure. Is the beginning of a new adventure, where Tintin and Snowy join Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) in contention against Sakharine to find the treasure.
